UK based breakdance crew
Invading your space with jaw dropping flips, tricks & plenty of funky footwork to get your head nodding & booty shaking!
Our interactive breakdance shows & workshops feature some of the top b-boys & b-girls from well respected crews across the UK. Est. 2010 (previously known as Blood Masterz)
We break the tension.
Looking to get the party started or break the ice and ensure people are having fun at your event?
Tension Breakers are a fresh and funky team of professional b-boys and b-girls (male and female break dancers) who all contribute their own individual style, flavour and experience to the giant dance floor shaped mixing pot to leave an unforgettable impact that will get people TALKING.

Audience Participation
One aspect of our shows, that our clients always love, is when we take a few minutes in the middle to invite a handful of volunteers up to teach them a few basic moves. This always has the rest of the audience cheering them on and everybody has a great laugh watching their mates bust a move!
Don’t worry we won’t get them to try spin on their head, but we’ll show them some basic steps, funky footwork and maybe a freeze or two.
We can provide longer breakdance workshops and classes when suited.

About Tension Breakers
Decades of experience
We’ve served up the best tasting pro breakers for hire in the wild West Yorkshire and beyond since 2010…
Having performed at various types of events at festivals, corporate events, bars, night clubs, weddings, Christmas parties and more across the UK and internationally, we always succeed in delivering fresh, amazing and exciting hip hop dance performances that leave audiences blown away talking about how much of a great time they had as a result!
The thing that really stands out about our crew is how much everybody shares a huge passion for dancing – we love breaking so much that we can’t help but do it everywhere we go, even in the street!

Tension Breakers vs Swing Patrol
Breakdance vs Lindy Hop
Since our first chance encounter at The Secret Garden Party in 2010, Swing Patrol and Tension Breakers (previously known as the Blood Masterz) have held regular showcase dance battles with breakdance versus swing/lindy hop.
As well as annually at SGP, we’ve also taken this unique concept to stages at Bestival and Swingamajig festival, with incredible special guest collaborations along the way and sensational feedback from audiences who’ve never seen anything like it!

How Tension Breakers Contribute to your Festival or Event
We bring the positively good vibes to get the party started, hype up the energy and turn audiences into participants, not just with dance, but hilariously fun interactive games and activities, day or night…
Whether roaming with our own pop up shows on our portable lino dance floor or on your festival stage with live music or DJs – we’re flexible (both literally and figuratively).
Interactive LED Breakdance Walkabout Act
When the sun goes down, our LED costumes come out and the spontaneous mayhem of bad ass moves, acrobatics, tricks and interactive games like LED limbo and LED skipping rope might surprise a venue you’re at…

“We had the pleasure of performing at an Event recently with Tension Breakers.
Nicky Skilton – Company Director of E-MotionDanceCompany
Having worked with many different artists over the years at events we were struck by just how enthusiastic and committed these guys were to their craft.
Their performance was slick and very creative and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing breakdancers.”
